Marcelino Sánchez (December 5, 1957 – November 21, 1986) was a Puerto Rican-American film and television actor. He is primarily remembered for playing Rembrandt in the cult classic film The Warriors, and as Ricardo on The Bloodhound Gang mystery vignettes featured on the 1980s children's educational television show 3-2-1 Contact. He also appeared in several episodes of Unicorn Tales.

Biography

Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Sanchez began acting in the late 1970s. His third film role was that of Rembrandt, a young, naive gang member with a flair for spray painting in The Warriors. After these films, Sánchez went on to appear in roles on CHiPs, 48 Hrs., and Hill Street Blues.

He died of AIDS-related cancer in his Hollywood home on November 21, 1986.
